- The Besta needle detector has been designed by Dae Kwang. More than 10,000 of these detectors have been exported to over 35 countries.
- There is a conveyor-belt start switch which can be equipped in the front or rear of the side form of the belt and a flexible alarm lamp is also available as an optional device.
- The detector will not be influenced by any outer electrical signal.
- There is a 100% success rate which is primarily due to onboard digital computer. This is a 30% improvement when compared to other detectors.
- A special CPU is installed on the inside of the control panel to ensure complete and hassle free operations. This is a result of over 13 years of technical know-how.
- It is 15% more efficient with irregular voltage levels, without a voltage regulator.

- When the sensor detects a broken needle pin or needle chip, a buzzer will automatically sound and the conveyor belt will stop.
- The machine is available in two modes of operation viz. Production & Test Card.
- 10 indicator lamps identify the exact location of a foreign object.
- The control panel is equipped with a safety lock.
- A protective cover for the control panel is available so as not to hit the sensitivity level or change the mode of operation by accident.
